WeAreCareer Review: Is a $4,000–$6,000 Program Plus 3–4% of Your Salary Worth It?

Careerify publishes this review and competes with WeAreCareer. We sell a rival reverse-recruiting service, so read this the way you would read any competitor’s write-up of a competitor, and follow the URLs we cite rather than taking our word. Every WeAreCareer figure below was re-read from their own live pages on 16 September 2026 — wearecareer.com/pages/career-bootcamp, /pages/career-executives, /pages/career-accelerator, /pages/reverse-recruiting, /pages/resume-writing-services, the homepage, /policies/refund-policy and /policies/terms-of-service — and their Trustpilot profile was read in a browser the same day. Where their program is the better buy, we say so first.

The short version. WeAreCareer sells one-time, coaching-first programs rather than a subscription: Career Bootcamp $4,000, Career Exec+ $5,000, Career Accelerator $6,000, each plus a post-offer fee of 3–4% of your first-year base salary once you are hired. For that you get a Career Mentor and a Career Agent, a done-for-you resume, cover letter and LinkedIn rewrite, interview coaching, and a fixed total of 300 applications (450 on the Accelerator, which also cold-emails 1,300+ recruiters and hiring managers). Every program page now carries an offer-or-10-interviews guarantee whose stated remedy is more applications; the Accelerator page alone also says “or your money back”. There is no trial, you cannot buy without a consultation call, and the binding refund and cancellation terms sit in a signed agreement their public Terms say they do not replace.

Is WeAreCareer worth it?

Yes, if your bottleneck is positioning, interview conversion or access to hiring managers rather than raw application throughput, you are employed enough to run a 3–6 month search, and you can fund $4,000–$6,000 up front (or on Klarna or Afterpay) plus a share of your first-year base. WeAreCareer bundles things we do not sell at any price — 1-on-1 coaching and, on the Accelerator, direct outreach to 1,300+ people — plus a resume, cover letter and LinkedIn rewrite inside the program fee (we include a resume rewrite on Elite and both on Executive, and sell them as add-ons below that), and their incentive shape is genuinely better aligned with a higher offer than our monthly fee is. No, if what you need is volume that keeps going: 300 applications is the whole program, not a monthly rate; their own pages say applications begin after 3–4 weeks of profile work; and the true all-in on a $120,000 base is roughly $7,600 for Bootcamp, by our arithmetic, against $1,680 for six months of Careerify Pro. Those two answers describe two different buyers, and this page is built to tell you which one you are.

Who WeAreCareer genuinely suits

Buy WeAreCareer if you are the candidate their own pages describe: a junior-to-mid corporate professional on Bootcamp, a Senior IC, Manager, Director or VP on Exec+, or a Tech Sales and GTM professional on the Accelerator — and your search is won by conversion, not by count. Four of their differentiators are real and we do not have them. You work with a Career Mentor and a Career Agent through a published process that starts with a full profile assessment and a done-for-you resume, cover letter and LinkedIn optimization, with coaching sessions and “ongoing Slack support”; Careerify sells no coaching at any tier. Their coaches and mentors are stated to be US-based — “All of our Career Coaches and Mentors who will be assigned to you are US-based” — where ours are offshore. They apply only to roles you have approved: their process sources jobs, “get your approval, then apply”, and “Revised or rejected listings do not count toward your application limit”, which is the right design if you cannot afford a sloppy application going out under your name and are willing to spend “around 5 minutes a day” approving roles. And the Accelerator adds a mechanism we do not offer at all: “we will apply to 450 jobs (with your approval & vetting) and cold-email 1,300+ people” — for a senior or GTM search where the job portal is a black hole, that is a different product, not a nicer version of ours. They also publish a fit filter rather than an open door — “We do not typically help fresh graduates with less than 2 years of experience or C-suite level talent” — and turning revenue away is a trust signal we do not offer.

What does WeAreCareer actually cost?

Two numbers, and only one of them is knowable when you sign. The program fee is one-time and published inside the FAQ accordion on each program page: Career Bootcamp $4,000, Career Exec+ $5,000, Career Accelerator $6,000 — the Bootcamp page reads “$4,000 program fee + 3% post-offer fee on first-year base salary (only if job sourced by us)”, and the Accelerator page reads “$6,000 program fee + 4% post-offer fee on first-year base salary only”. Read the carve-out carefully, because it depends on which page you open: the Bootcamp and Exec+ program pages say the fee applies “only if job sourced by us”, the Accelerator program page states its 4% with no such qualifier, and /pages/reverse-recruiting spells out for all three programs — the Accelerator included — “0% post-offer fees if you applied yourself or the offer came through your own referral sources”. The post-offer fee “can be initiated within 30 days of accepting & starting your new role”, and the program fee can be paid “Upfront in full”, “Split across 2 monthly internal installments” (Bootcamp and Accelerator; the Exec+ page says “Split across 3 monthly internal installments”), or via “3 to 12 month financing via Klarna or Afterpay”. These prices rose between our reads of 18 August and 7 September 2026 — the same three programs were $3,000, $4,000 and $5,500 on 18 August — so treat any figure you find elsewhere, including on older comparison pages, as suspect until you have opened the program page yourself.

This next part is our arithmetic, not a figure they publish. At a $120,000 first-year base, Bootcamp’s 3% adds $3,600, taking the all-in to roughly $7,600 for 300 applications — about $25 per application, assuming the offer came through a role they sourced. At a $150,000 base, the Accelerator’s 4% adds $6,000, for roughly $12,000 all-in on 450 applications plus the outreach. Do that multiplication with your own target salary before comparing anything on this page to a monthly price, because a program fee plus a percentage is not comparable to a subscription until you have. Careerify charges no percentage of anyone’s salary at any tier: six months of our Pro plan is $1,680 billed monthly, or $1,428 billed quarterly, from the prices on our pricing page.

What does the program actually deliver, and how fast?

The application counts are program totals, not monthly rates, and this is the comparison most buyers get wrong. Bootcamp and Exec+ each include “300 complimentary job applications that are sourced and applied for you”; the Accelerator page says “we will apply to 450 jobs (with your approval & vetting)”. All three programs are marketed as running “3-6 months”, and no per-week or per-month application count is published on any page we read. Once the count is used up, the pages promise continued support — “300 applications + ongoing support” — with more applications only if the guarantee triggers. Spread evenly, 300 applications over a 3–6 month program is roughly 50–100 a month — again our division, not their claim.

The ramp is published, and it matters if you are unemployed. Their process on /pages/reverse-recruiting puts profile optimization first — the resume, cover letter and LinkedIn — then coaching, then “After 3-4 weeks, we begin the job application support. Our Career Agents will source jobs, get your approval, then apply.” That is roughly a month between paying and the first application going out. It is defensible: a better-positioned application converts better, and if you are employed and running a six-month search a month of preparation costs you nothing. If you are burning runway, a month of zero applications is a real, countable cost, and it is the cleanest single split between their product and ours.

What you do in return is also published. The Bootcamp page lists your responsibilities as attending the scheduled coaching sessions, sharing background details, responding in a timely manner, and “Review and approve or revise our sourced roles (around 5 minutes a day)”. The Bootcamp page describes “1 on 1 support with a dedicated Career Mentor, 3 coaching sessions, and ongoing slack support”, plus lifetime access to their course. The people doing the applying carry the title Career Agent; the site states that coaches, mentors and resume writers are US-based and says nothing about where the Career Agents are — we note that as a gap, not a finding. Our own recruiters are offshore, and we say so on every comparison page.

How good is the guarantee?

Better than it was — the wording changed between our 18 August and 7 September 2026 reads — so read the current version. Every program page now carries two guarantees. The first is outcome-linked. Bootcamp, verbatim: “We guarantee a job offer or a minimum of 10 unique interviews within the first 300 job applications. If neither is met, we will provide an additional 300 applications for free” — and the page adds, “So even if we get you 9 interviews in 300 apps, we will add another 300 apps.” The Accelerator’s version: “We guarantee a job offer or a minimum of 10 unique interviews within the first 450 job applications. If neither is met, we will provide unlimited extra applications until we hit the minimum results guarantee no matter what.” Note what the FAQ remedy is in both: more applications. The Accelerator page is the exception — a benefits tile higher on the same page reads “we work with you until you get a job offer or at least a minimum of 10 interviews or your money back”, and its FAQ heading is “How does the results or refund guarantee work?”, so that one page names two remedies for one trigger. The second is the “Job Support Guarantee”, described as “ongoing support & guidance until you land and accept an offer” — a promise of continued help, not of a result.

Now the fine print, because it is on a different page from the promise. Their Terms of Service — the live document is at /policies/terms-of-service, last updated 27 April 2026, and it is not the page either of the terms links in their own footer opens — say in section 17 that “Some programs may include specific guarantees only when expressly stated in a signed agreement or program-specific contract. The Career Accelerator may include an interview-based guarantee only where expressly stated in the signed Accelerator agreement”, and list among the things WeAreCareer does not guarantee “Specific number of interviews unless expressly stated in a signed agreement”. Section 15.3 says that program “refund, cancellation, guarantee, service, and post-offer fee terms are generally governed by their applicable signed agreements” and that “The public Terms do not replace the program-specific terms”. Section 15.4 adds that “Change of mind, finding a job, no longer needing the service, being too busy, personal circumstances, or choosing not to continue participating do not automatically create a refund right.”

Separately again, /policies/refund-policy describes money: for the Accelerator, “Client is given a refund on the deposit should the Career Team fail to secure at least 10 interviews for the client”, and for the optimization service, “A 90-day refund can be provided if the client has landed 0 interviews following optimization service” where the client can “show proof of 50 job applications”. A deposit refund is not a full refund, and neither clause names Bootcamp or Exec+. So there are three documents — the program page, the Terms, and the refund policy — and they do not describe one mechanism. The accurate statement is that WeAreCareer advertises an offer-or-10-interviews guarantee on all three programs with a remedy in applications on Bootcamp and Exec+ — and on the Accelerator both extra applications and “your money back”, depending on which part of the page you read — and that whatever refund right you actually hold lives in a signed agreement you cannot read before the consultation. Ask for that agreement in writing before you pay anyone, us included. Our own Application Delivery Guarantee is published in full: a set number of applications from your first month’s recruiter hours, or a free month as a service credit — not a cash refund.

Where their own pages disagree with each other

Small things, but if you are quoting a number, quote the program page. The Accelerator page says “450 jobs” and “1,300+ people”; the homepage and /pages/reverse-recruiting render the same two figures as 450+ and “1,350+”. The Accelerator page’s FAQ remedies its guarantee in “unlimited extra applications”, a tile on the same page says “or your money back”, and /policies/refund-policy describes a refund “on the deposit” for the same interview shortfall — three remedies for one trigger, across two pages. And the two terms links in their own footer, /pages/terms-and-conditions and /pages/terms-of-use, both load pages with no terms text on them; the live Terms sit at /policies/terms-of-service, which no page we checked links to. None of this is unusual for a growing Shopify site. It does mean the marketing version of a promise is not the binding version, and you should get the binding one in writing.

What do their review numbers actually count?

Trustpilot, read in a browser on 16 September 2026: 4.5 out of 5 from 19 reviews — 95% five-star and 5% four-star on the distribution bars, no reviews below four stars. Two things to know before you read that as strong or weak. First, the profile is filed under their legal name, Career Enterprise — their Terms open with “Career Enterprise LLC, doing business as WeAreCareer” — so searching WeAreCareer on Trustpilot does not obviously surface it. Second, Trustpilot itself displays the notice “No recent history of asking for reviews” on the profile, which means the sample is whoever chose to write in rather than customers invited after service. Nineteen reviews is a small base. For scale on the same day: Find My Profession 4.9/5 from 783, Scale.jobs 4.6/5 from 242, Career Agents 4.8/5 from 46, and Careerify 4.3/5 from 9 — ours is the smallest on this page and lower-rated than theirs, and we would rather state that than dress it up. Their own resume-services page still advertises a much higher rating with no review platform named in the page copy, read the same day; we do not repeat that figure because there is nothing to check it against. Their homepage states “Trusted by 150+ companies and 3,000+ professionals”; that is their own claim and we report it as such.

Can you try WeAreCareer before you pay?

No. There is no free trial, no free tier, and none of the three programs can be purchased online. The Bootcamp page is explicit about the route in: “The best way to know if the Bootcamp is right for you is to apply, book a call, speak with a Program Consultant, and get our coaching team to evaluate your profile to see if reverse recruiting is recommended for you.” Their Terms, section 10, state that “Submitting an application, booking a call, speaking with a Program Consultant, completing a form, or making an inquiry does not guarantee acceptance into a WeAreCareer program.” They write that they “do not typically help fresh graduates with less than 2 years of experience or C-suite level talent, but we encourage you to apply and book a call”. Their Resume Services line is the only self-serve checkout we found; all three programs go through the call.

Careerify’s 5-day trial starts with real recruiter hours at $0 today — 2 hours on Starter and Pro, 3 on Elite, 4 on Executive — card required, and you are not charged if you cancel before it ends. That difference is not only about money; it is about what you can see before you commit. With us you watch actual applications land in your dashboard during the trial. With them, you commit $4,000–$6,000 up front or on financing, after a sales conversation, with the governing refund terms deferred to a document you have not yet read.

Where Careerify is different

A dedicated human recruiter finds matching roles and submits tailored applications, with every submission logged to a dashboard you can open. Plans run $150–$720/month — Starter $150, Pro $280, Elite $455, Executive $720 — for ~50, ~100, ~175 and ~300 applications a month as estimates, published on our pricing page; quarterly billing saves 15%, taking the effective range to $128–$612/month. Unused recruiter hours roll over while you stay subscribed, you can cancel any month, and there is no percentage of your salary at any tier, ever. Elite includes a resume rewrite and Executive includes both a resume and a LinkedIn rewrite; otherwise they are one-time add-ons, $89 for the resume and $79 for LinkedIn, on our pricing page. Proof works differently from theirs: their published mechanism is your approval of each role before it is submitted, ours is a logged record of each application after it is. Our recruiters have submitted 100,000+ applications on that model.

Where we lose to WeAreCareer, plainly. We sell no coaching at any tier, and every one of their programs includes a Career Mentor, coaching sessions and interview preparation. They rewrite your resume, cover letter and LinkedIn as part of the program, by writers they state are US-based; our recruiters are offshore. The Accelerator emails hiring managers and recruiters directly; we submit applications and stop there. Their guarantee is tied to an offer or to interviews rather than to work delivered — a harder promise than ours, even where the remedy is applications rather than cash. Their review profile is stronger than ours: 4.5 from 19 against our 4.3 from 9, both verified on Trustpilot on 16 September 2026, both small samples. And their incentive shape is better: a one-time fee plus a share of a higher offer means their revenue does not grow the longer your search drags on, and ours does. We would rather concede all of that than argue with it.

How to decide

Run three checks before you pay anyone here, ourselves included. First, compute the all-in with your own target salary — a program fee plus 3–4% is not comparable to a monthly price until you have done the multiplication, and on a six-figure base the percentage is often larger than the difference between any two program fees. Second, get the guarantee and the refund terms in writing: the program page, the Terms and the refund policy each say something different, and their own Terms say the signed agreement is the one that counts. Third, decide honestly whether your problem is conversion or throughput. If you are getting some callbacks but not turning them into offers, or you need to be positioned for a pivot, that is a coaching problem, and no amount of Careerify volume fixes it — buy theirs. If your problem is that not enough applications are going out, that a month of zero applications is a month you cannot afford, or that you want to see every submission and cancel the month you land, that is the product we built. Start with the 5-day trial if you want to see the work before deciding; the full category, priced the same way, is in best reverse recruiting services.

Sponsorship-aware search

Searching with visa sponsorship in mind

Many candidates waste applications on roles that won't sponsor. Careerify can focus your search on roles that signal sponsorship openness or work-authorization compatibility and skip the obvious no-sponsorship postings — so your applications go where they have a chance. You share your work authorization and needs at intake; your recruiter targets accordingly and tracks everything in your dashboard.

We do
  • Prioritize roles that indicate sponsorship openness.
  • Avoid postings that clearly exclude sponsorship.
  • Focus limited applications where they count.
We don't
  • Provide immigration or legal advice.
  • Guarantee sponsorship.
  • Make visa decisions — those rest with the employer and your own counsel.

Careerify is not an immigration law firm and does not provide legal advice, guarantee sponsorship, or make visa decisions. Candidates are responsible for answering all work-authorization questions truthfully.

Sponsorship-aware targeting is best paired with Elite or Dedicated when the search needs more coverage. Read Priya's visa-aware search story

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Two components, both read from their live program pages on 16 September 2026. First, a one-time program fee: Career Bootcamp $4,000, Career Exec+ $5,000, Career Accelerator $6,000. Second, a post-offer fee once you are hired: 3% of your first-year base salary for Bootcamp and Exec+ — "only if job sourced by us", with 0% if you applied yourself or the offer came through your own referrals — or 4% for the Accelerator; the Accelerator’s own page states its 4% without that qualifier, but /pages/reverse-recruiting lists the same 0% self-sourced carve-out for all three programs. The program fee can be paid upfront, split across two internal installments (three on Exec+), or financed over 3–12 months via Klarna or Afterpay; the post-offer fee can be initiated within 30 days of accepting and starting the role. Our arithmetic, not their figure: at a $120,000 base, Bootcamp is roughly $7,600 all-in for 300 applications. These prices rose between our 18 August and 7 September 2026 reads from $3,000, $4,000 and $5,500, so check the program page rather than an older comparison.
Yes, on all three programs, and the wording changed between our 18 August and 7 September 2026 reads. Bootcamp and Exec+, verbatim from their program pages on 16 September 2026: "We guarantee a job offer or a minimum of 10 unique interviews within the first 300 job applications. If neither is met, we will provide an additional 300 applications for free." The Accelerator: the same promise within the first 450 applications, with "unlimited extra applications until we hit the minimum results guarantee no matter what." The FAQ remedy is more applications; the Accelerator page also carries a tile reading “or your money back”. Their Terms of Service say program guarantees apply "only when expressly stated in a signed agreement or program-specific contract" and that the public Terms "do not replace the program-specific terms", and their separate refund policy describes a refund "on the deposit" for the Accelerator if 10 interviews are not secured. Get the binding version in writing before paying.
It is a real, legally identified company running a real service. Their Terms of Service open with "Career Enterprise LLC, doing business as WeAreCareer", they publish full program pages with prices in the FAQ accordions, a Terms of Service last updated 27 April 2026, and a refund policy, and their Trustpilot profile — filed under Career Enterprise — showed 4.5 out of 5 from 19 reviews when we read it in a browser on 16 September 2026, with Trustpilot’s own notice that the company has no recent history of asking for reviews. Their homepage claims 150+ companies and 3,000+ professionals served; we report that as their claim. What you cannot verify before buying is the binding refund and cancellation terms, which their Terms defer to a signed agreement. Careerify competes with them; read our review with that in mind.
A fixed total per program, not a monthly rate: 300 for Career Bootcamp and Career Exec+ ("300 complimentary job applications that are sourced and applied for you") and 450 for the Career Accelerator ("we will apply to 450 jobs (with your approval & vetting) and cold-email 1,300+ people"), all read on 16 September 2026. Programs run 3–6 months, no per-week or per-month application count is published, and their process page says applications begin "After 3-4 weeks" of profile optimization and coaching. Every role is approved by you first from their sourced list, and rejected or revised listings do not count toward the limit. If the guarantee is triggered, Bootcamp and Exec+ add 300 more; the Accelerator adds unlimited more. Careerify, by contrast, runs ~50 to ~300 applications a month as estimates for as long as you stay subscribed.
It depends on whether your bottleneck is conversion or throughput. WeAreCareer is a one-time coaching-first program — $4,000–$6,000 plus 3–4% of first-year base — that bundles a Career Mentor, a resume, cover letter and LinkedIn rewrite, interview coaching and a fixed 300–450 applications, with approve-before-apply control and, on the Accelerator, direct outreach to 1,300+ people. If you need positioning, coaching or access, it is the better product and we would rather you bought theirs. Careerify is a monthly subscription — $150–$720 for ~50–300 applications a month as estimates — with no percentage of your salary, a dashboard record of every submission, hours that roll over while you stay subscribed, a 5-day trial with real recruiter hours, and cancellation any month. We sell no coaching and no outreach. If you need volume that keeps going, starting now, at a predictable price, that is what we built.
