What is the best Find My Profession alternative?
It depends on which constraint is binding. Careerify is the value pick at $150–$720/month if you want application volume. Scale.jobs is the cheapest one-time option. Reverse Recruiting Agency is closest to FMP’s model at a lower monthly. And if you’re a senior executive who needs US-based networking outreach, the honest answer is that you should probably stay with FMP.
The five alternatives compared

All prices as published on each company’s own site on 26 July 2026. Reverse Recruiting Agency lists tiers of $1,500/$2,000/$2,500 per month on its homepage while its pricing page advertises $1,500/month plus 10% of first-year salary — we show both because the company publishes both.
First — who should stay with Find My Profession?
Three groups genuinely should, and no honest comparison would pretend otherwise. Senior executives, because FMP’s client-facing recruiters are US-based, individually named on their site with tenure and credentials, and they carry no more than 5–7 clients each — when your recruiter is messaging your future peers by name, that matters. People who need human networking, not applications, because FMP does decision-maker research and personalised outreach as a distinct workstream; at $200k+, where fewer suitable roles are publicly posted, that is often the higher-yield activity. And anyone who wants everything bundled — resume, LinkedIn, cover letter, a monthly interview-coaching session, salary-negotiation help and unlimited coach messaging are included at both price points.
Their guarantee is also stronger in kind than ours. The Find My Profession Promise offers five qualifying interviews (from at least three separate employers) or an accepted offer within four months — otherwise they keep working at no additional monthly fee for up to six more months. It is conditioned on eligibility requirements including responding within 48 hours and attending two strategy meetings a month, and the remedy is continued service rather than money back. But if it triggers, it is worth considerably more than a refund.
Careerify — the value alternative ($150–$720/month)
A dedicated human recruiter finds matching roles and submits applications for you, with every submission visible in your dashboard. Plans run $150–$720/month for 50–300+ applications, with a 5-day trial (card required). The written Application Delivery Guarantee promises your plan’s application floor in your first 30 paid days, or a free month.
The comparison that matters: FMP publishes a target of 5–10 roles per week, roughly 20–43 a month, at $3,000. Careerify’s entry plan is 50+ a month at $150. Using FMP’s own four-month cost calculator, a $150k-target search runs $12,000 fixed or $18,000 on the success-fee option; four months of Careerify Pro is $1,120.
Where we lose: our recruiters are an offshore team, not named US-based executives. We don’t sell networking outreach, coaching or salary negotiation. Our Trustpilot profile is 4.3/5 from 7 reviews against FMP’s 4.8/5 from 771 — there is no framing in which we win that, though it’s worth knowing FMP’s reviews cover their resume business as well as reverse recruiting.
Scale.jobs — cheapest, if you don’t want a subscription
Scale.jobs sells prepaid application packs rather than a monthly service: $199 for 250 applications, $299 for 500, $399 for 1,000, and $1,099 for an 1,100-application bundle with all add-ons included. Each is labelled “one time payment · no subscription,” and a human assistant does the submitting.
For raw applications per dollar, nothing here beats it. The trade-offs are that add-ons (job sourcing, resume writing, LinkedIn) are priced extras on every tier except the top one, no delivery or outcome guarantee is published anywhere on their pricing page, and their refund formula deducts a non-waivable $100. Note also that the “no subscription” claim covers the human service — they separately sell a recurring AI assistant plan.
Reverse Recruiting Agency, Career Agents and WeAreCareer
Reverse Recruiting Agency is structurally closest to FMP — monthly retainer, senior positioning — at $1,500–$2,500/month depending which page you read, with the first month’s fee credited against a success fee on placement. Treat their published figures carefully: their site currently states several different application volumes and placement timelines in different places.
Career Agents sells fixed packages rather than a retainer: $999 one-time for the starter, $6,993 for Pro (or $999/month for seven months), and $14,999 for Executive (or $1,666.50/month for nine). WeAreCareer uses a hybrid — $3,000 for Career Bootcamp, $4,000 for Exec+, $5,500 for Accelerator, each plus a 3–4% fee on your first-year salary once you land a role they sourced.
Both are priced above Careerify and below FMP’s annualised cost, and both bundle coaching that we don’t sell. If a fixed total cost matters more than monthly flexibility, the package model is worth a look.
How to choose between them
- Volume is your constraint — you need to be in front of far more postings. Careerify or Scale.jobs.
- Access is your constraint — the roles you want aren’t posted, and you need someone talking to decision-makers. Find My Profession.
- You want one predictable total, not a monthly you might renew four times. Career Agents or Scale.jobs.
- You want coaching bundled in, not just applications. FMP, WeAreCareer or Career Agents.
- Check the guarantee’s remedy, not its headline. Some pay a refund, some extend service, and most carry participation conditions.
