What is the best Scale.jobs alternative?
Compare configured prices, not headline ones. Scale.jobs’ $399 pack priced job-finding and tailored resumes as $199 add-ons each when we checked on 24 August 2026 — the add-on runs $99–$199 by pack and pricing variant, and both are included in every Careerify plan — so the like-for-like build is $797. If you already have your own shortlist and your own resume, their base pack still wins on raw form-fill volume and we won’t pretend otherwise. Choose an alternative when you want a delivery guarantee (they publish none), a way to see the work before you pay for it, an ongoing service rather than a finite pack, or senior-level support. Careerify at $150–$720/month is the closest like-for-like; Find My Profession is the executive option.

First — who should just buy the Scale.jobs pack?
Plenty of people should, and on the base pack the maths isn’t close. If you already have your own shortlist and your own resume, $399 for 1,000 form-fills is less than two months of most monthly services, and nothing here matches it. If you hate subscriptions, their human service is a genuine one-time payment — “one time payment · no subscription” appears seven times on their pricing page, and they offer Klarna instalments. Careerify, by contrast, needs a card for the 5-day trial and then bills monthly.
If you want a big block of applications at once, 1,000–1,100 in a single purchase exceeds what any Careerify plan below Dedicated delivers in a month. They also send a proof screenshot for every application — that’s parity with our dashboard, not something we do better — and they publish international coverage where we’re US-centric.
One thing we’ll credit them for that most of this category doesn’t do: they publish their own one-star reviews with founder replies, and disclose plainly that their assistants are offshore, that resume tailoring is AI-assisted, and that they previously offered service credits to customers who shared a positive review — a programme their founder’s reply, as served on their homepage on 24 August 2026, says has since ended. That’s more transparency than the norm here.
What you give up with a prepaid pack
No delivery guarantee. We searched their pricing page: the word “guarantee” doesn’t appear on it, and their Terms §2.1 states plainly that they “do not guarantee interviews, offers, compensation, immigration outcomes, or admissions.” A pack buys you a number of submissions, not a promise about pace or outcome.
A $100 deduction from any refund. Their Terms §6.1 set out a pro-rata refund formula with a one-time $100 fee deducted from any refund — on the $199 Basic pack that’s roughly half the purchase price, and by the formula they publish (plan price, minus pro-rata cost, minus the $100) it comes out even if no applications went out at all. Section 6.3 makes that pro-rata refund your “exclusive remedy.” None of this appears on the pricing page itself; you have to open the Terms to find it.
The two things that make it a done-for-you service are paid add-ons. This is the number that matters and it’s easy to miss. On their $399 Best Value pack, “We Find Jobs — we find & apply to jobs for you” is +$199, and “AI Custom Resumes — tailored resume for every application” is another +$199. Only the $1,099 Ultimate includes them. Their own bundle button reads “Apply to Jobs for Me — $598,” which is the $399 pack plus the $199 job-finding add-on — their pricing treats sourcing as a necessary addition, not part of the base product.
So the honest like-for-like against a Careerify plan — where a recruiter sources the roles and tailors each application as standard, at every tier — is $399 + $199 + $199 = $797, or their $1,099 Ultimate. Compared at that configuration rather than the headline, the gap narrows a great deal. If you compare the $399 base against a monthly service, you’re comparing “someone fills in forms from your list, using your resume” against “someone finds the roles and tailors the application” — which are different products.
Careerify — when you want a guarantee and an ongoing service
A dedicated human recruiter finds matching roles and submits applications, with every submission visible in your dashboard. $150–$720/month for ~50–300 applications, cancel anytime, with a written Application Delivery Guarantee — your plan’s guaranteed number of applications out of your first month’s recruiter hours, or a free month.

Where we lose, plainly: on price per application we are several times more expensive, and there is no honest way to dress that up. They also run a genuinely free AI toolset — job board, tracker and resume builder, metered at 2 base resumes and 10 AI resumes, cover letters and interview-prep responses a month — and we have no free software tier at all. Our Trustpilot profile is 4.3/5 from 9 reviews against their 4.6/5 from 242; theirs is a far larger sample. Separately, their founder’s homepage reply, as served on 24 August 2026, says a review-incentive programme they once ran — additional service credits, not cash — has since ended; no start or end date is published, so nobody can say which reviews fell inside it. And a subscription is a worse instrument than a pack if you are watching every recurring charge.
Where we’re the better instrument: you can see the work before you pay for it. Their free tier is software; their human service is bought upfront, so the first time you see one of their assistants apply to anything you have already paid $199–$1,099. A Careerify search opens with a 5-day trial in which a real recruiter puts in real hours — 2 on Starter and Pro, 3 on Elite, 4 on Executive — and you are charged $0 today and nothing at all if you cancel before it ends. A card is required to start it. Beyond that, you get a guaranteed application count in writing with a remedy attached, out of your first month’s recruiter hours. Sourcing is included rather than an add-on; unused hours roll over for as long as you’re subscribed instead of resetting each month; and Elite includes a resume rewrite while Executive includes resume and LinkedIn — all of which are paid extras on every Scale.jobs tier except the $1,099 bundle. On a monthly plan you can cancel any month, so the most you are out is one month’s price, where a cancelled pack always loses the $100 they keep. (Our quarterly option is cheaper per month but commits you for the quarter — take monthly if the shorter exit matters more than the discount.) If your search runs long and you want someone accountable for delivering, that’s the trade.
Find My Profession, Career Agents and Reverse Recruiting Agency
All three sit well above both Careerify and Scale.jobs on price, and they’re solving a different problem — access rather than volume. Career Agents sells fixed packages from $999 one-time to $14,999, with payment plans available. - You need the roles found and the resume tailored: compare $797 (their $399 pack + both $199 add-ons) or their $1,099 Ultimate against a monthly plan that includes both as standard.
- You want a delivery guarantee with a remedy attached: Careerify — a guaranteed application count out of your first month’s recruiter hours, or a free month. The pack model publishes no delivery guarantee at all.
- Your search may run months and you want to stop paying when you land: a monthly service, not a pack you’ve prepaid.
- The roles you want aren’t posted: Find My Profession — you need outreach, not volume.
