What is the best Career Agents alternative?
It depends on what you were buying from them. If it was the dedicated-recruiter model, Careerify runs it monthly from $150 with applications included in every plan and no fixed term. If it was the executive white-glove tier, Find My Profession is the premium benchmark. If you only want volume, Scale.jobs’ packs are cheapest per application.
The comparison to run before signing anywhere: Career Agents’ cheapest package that actually includes applications is $999/month on a 7-month term — roughly $6,993 committed — and their Refund Policy lists withdrawing before the 7-month window ends as grounds to deny the guarantee. A monthly service costs more per month than a pack but lets you stop paying the day you land.

First — who should just use Career Agents?
If you want a fixed-length, all-in program with an offer-linked promise, that is genuinely their shape and not ours. Their Executive package runs nine months of what they describe as unlimited support, and their guarantee is tied to a job offer — an outcome commitment that goes further in kind than our activity guarantee, which deliberately promises only the work we control. Their Trustpilot score is also stronger than ours: 4.8 from 40 reviews against our 4.3 from 7 — under a fifth of their volume — and we’d rather concede that plainly than argue with it. If a defined program with a defined end date suits how you work, and the fine print below reads acceptably to you, they are a legitimate choice at the premium end.
Read their guarantee window and refund terms before you sign
Their site states the guarantee window two ways. The controlling Refund Policy says seven months from the day they begin submitting applications; their About page and founder’s page say six, and the homepage carries both versions. The remedy is a choice of a free extension (up to four months in the Refund Policy; their marketing pages say six) or 50% of the refundable portion — resume, cover letter and LinkedIn work are non-refundable once delivered, so the 50% applies to a reduced base. Eligibility requires replying within three business days (unless otherwise agreed), attending scheduled interviews, and staying the full term: withdrawing early is listed as grounds to deny.
Two more checkout-verified details. The Starter installment plan costs more than paying once — $250/month for six months is $1,500 for the same $999 package. And their own currently-live blog article lists package prices that differ from their checkout — $9,999 for the Executive tier against $14,999 at checkout — so confirm the current price at checkout, in writing, before you commit to anyone, us included.
Careerify — monthly, applications included, no fixed term
A dedicated human recruiter finds matching roles and submits tailored applications, with every submission visible in your dashboard. Plans run $150–$720/month for ~50–300 applications (estimates, published on our pricing page), every plan includes applications and sourcing, unused hours roll over while you’re subscribed, and you can cancel any month. The written Application Delivery Guarantee promises your plan’s guaranteed number of applications out of your first month’s recruiter hours, or a free month — and the 5-day trial starts with real recruiter hours at $0 today, card required.
Where we lose to Career Agents, plainly: our guarantee is an activity promise, not an offer-linked one — theirs commits to an outcome and backs it with a partial-refund option, which ours never does. They bundle interview support and coaching into a single program; we don’t offer live coaching at any tier. And their review profile is currently stronger: 4.8 from 40 versus our 4.3 from 7.
Find My Profession, Scale.jobs and My Personal Recruiter
Find My Profession is the premium executive pick: $3,000/month flat or $1,500/month plus 8% of first-year salary, US-based named recruiters and human networking outreach — compared in detail in our Find My Profession alternatives guide. Scale.jobs is the budget pick: prepaid packs from $199, human assistants submitting, job-finding sold as an add-on on most packs — the configured-price math is in our Scale.jobs alternatives guide. My Personal Recruiter runs a dedicated-team model with a coach and resume writer on every tier; their pricing page displayed no prices when we checked in August — the full fine print is in our My Personal Recruiter alternatives guide.
