Terms of Service

Careerify is a reverse recruiting service. We assign a dedicated human recruiter to apply to jobs on your behalf, based on the preferences and information you provide. We may also offer related services such as cover letter writing, resume writing, and access to a resource library, depending on your subscription plan.

Careerify is not an employer, staffing agency, recruiter for any specific company, job board, automation tool, or career coaching service. We submit applications on your behalf to third-party employers; we do not control hiring decisions, interview outcomes, or job offers.

To use Careerify, you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as needed. Notify us immediately at support@careerify.io if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information, including resume content, work history, qualifications, and contact details.
• Promptly respond to your recruiter when input or clarification is needed.
• Maintain accurate preferences, including job titles, salary, and location, so your recruiter can target relevant roles.
• Use the Service only for your own personal job search and not on behalf of another person without our written permission.
• Not use the Service for unlawful purposes, including misrepresenting your qualifications, identity, or work authorization.

You acknowledge that submitting false or misleading information to employers may have legal and professional consequences for which you alone are responsible.

Careerify provides effort-based services, not outcome-based services. While we work hard to deliver consistent, high-quality applications, we make no guarantee of:

• A specific number of interviews.
• Receiving a job offer.
• Any particular salary, role, or employer outcome.
• Response times from employers.

Hiring decisions are made entirely by third-party employers and are outside our control. Application volumes given in our marketing materials are estimates based on typical performance and may vary based on your industry, location, seniority, market conditions, and the specificity of your preferences.

By creating an account, you consent to receive service-related communications from us, including emails about your applications, account, and recruiter messages. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time, but transactional emails are required for service delivery.

All content on the Careerify website and dashboard, including text, graphics, logos, software, and the resource library, is owned by Careerify or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

You retain ownership of your resume, cover letters, and personal information. By using the Service, you grant Careerify a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and submit your materials solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

The Service involves submitting applications to third-party websites and employers. We are not responsible for the content, policies, hiring practices, or actions of any third party. Your interactions with employers, including interviews and offers, are solely between you and that employer.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard or by contacting support@careerify.io. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle; you will retain access to the Service until then.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without refund, if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, harass your recruiter or our staff, provide fraudulent information, or engage in conduct that we reasonably determine is harmful to us, our staff, or other users.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR PRODUCE ANY SPECIFIC RESULT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAREERIFY AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, OR LOST WAGES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Careerify and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or any misrepresentation in materials submitted on your behalf.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Boca Raton, Florida, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court. You and Careerify each waive the right to participate in a class action.
