Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available, how to request one, and how cancellations work.

At Careerify, we want every client to feel confident about working with us. This Refund Policy applies to all subscriptions purchased through www.careerify.io.

By subscribing to Careerify, you agree to the terms in this Refund Policy.

Section 1

Free Trial

Careerify offers a 5-day free trial that includes 2–4 hours of recruiting time. A valid payment method is required to start the trial.

  • You will not be charged if you cancel before your trial ends.
  • If you do not cancel, your selected plan will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial.
  • You can cancel anytime through your dashboard or by emailing support@careerify.io.

We strongly recommend setting a reminder before your trial ends so you can decide whether to continue.

Section 2

Subscription Charges

Careerify operates on a monthly subscription model. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel.

Plans:

  • Starter — $120/month.
  • Pro — $240/month.
  • Elite — $360/month.

Section 3

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard or by emailing support@careerify.io.

  • Cancellation stops future billing.
  • You will continue to have access to the Service through the end of your current billing cycle.
  • Recruiting hours that are unused at the end of the billing cycle do not roll over and are not refundable.

Section 4

Refund Eligibility

Because Careerify is a human-driven service — your recruiter spends real time researching roles, writing cover letters, and submitting applications on your behalf — refunds are limited and granted on a case-by-case basis.

4.1

When Refunds May Be Granted

We may issue a full or partial refund in the following situations:

  • Duplicate charges or billing errors on our end.
  • Service not delivered: If your recruiter has not started work and no recruiting hours have been used in your current billing cycle, you may request a refund within 7 days of being charged.
  • Significant service failure that we determine, in good faith, prevented us from delivering the Service as described.

4.2

When Refunds Will Not Be Granted

Refunds are generally not available:

  • After recruiting hours have been used in the current billing cycle, even partially.
  • For dissatisfaction with the outcome of applications, such as not receiving interviews or offers. Careerify is an effort-based service and does not guarantee any specific result.
  • For change of mind after work has begun.
  • For unused recruiting hours at the end of a billing cycle.
  • After 30 days from the original charge date.
  • For accounts terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service.

Section 5

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  • Email billing@careerify.io or support@careerify.io from the email address associated with your account.
  • Include your full name, the date of the charge, and the reason for your request.
  • Allow up to 5 business days for our team to review and respond.

Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, additional processing time may apply.

Section 6

Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we'll do our best to resolve it directly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate account suspension and may affect your eligibility for future service.

Section 7

Plan Changes

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard:

  • Upgrades take effect immediately, with a prorated charge for the remainder of the current cycle.
  • Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

Section 8

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through your dashboard. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
