At Careerify, we want every client to feel confident about working with us. This Refund Policy applies to all subscriptions purchased through www.careerify.io.
By subscribing to Careerify, you agree to the terms in this Refund Policy.
1. Free Trial
Careerify offers a 5-day free trial that includes 2 hours on Starter and Pro, 3 hours on Elite, or 4 hours on Executive. A valid payment method is required to start the trial.
- You will not be charged if you cancel before your trial ends.
- If you do not cancel, your selected plan will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial.
- You can cancel anytime through your dashboard or by emailing support@careerify.io.
- Free-trial hours don't carry over if you cancel before your trial converts. Free-trial hours are for the trial only. Any left when your paid plan begins don't carry over either — your plan's own hours start then.
2. Subscription Charges
Careerify operates on monthly and quarterly subscription plans. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel.
Self-serve plans:
- Starter — $150/month, 10 recruiter hours, ~50 applications.
- Pro — $280/month, 20 recruiter hours, ~100 applications.
- Elite — $455/month, 35 recruiter hours, ~175 applications, and a resume rewrite + 1 job-type cover letter each month included.
- Executive — $720/month, 60 recruiter hours, ~300 applications, and resume + LinkedIn rewrite + 1 job-type resume + 1 job-type cover letter each month included.
- Dedicated — custom pricing by quote for high-volume searches, with a dedicated recruiter working only your search.
Quarterly self-serve plans save 15% and are billed every three months. Resume rewrite, job-type resume, job-type cover letter, and LinkedIn rewrite add-ons are available for $89, $40 per job title, $30 per job title, and $79, respectively, unless included in your plan. A job-type resume is written from your base resume, so it is available once you have a resume rewrite purchased or included. A master cover letter is included with every paid plan (one per customer, not during the free trial).
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard or by emailing support@careerify.io.
- Cancellation stops future billing.
- You keep full access to the Service through the end of your current billing cycle, and after that until every paid recruiter hour on your account has been used, or until we close the search early because you've asked us to stop — for example, because you've accepted a job. To stop early, message your recruiter or email support@careerify.io. Any hours left then stay on your balance and carry into any plan you restart.
- Paid hours never expire. They roll over month to month, and if you cancel, your recruiter keeps working until every paid hour is used. Canceling stops future plan grants; it doesn't take away hours you've already paid for.
- Free-trial hours don't carry over if you cancel before your trial converts. Free-trial hours are for the trial only. Any left when your paid plan begins don't carry over either — your plan's own hours start then.
4. Refund Eligibility
Because Careerify is a human-driven service — your recruiter spends real time researching roles, filling out applications, and submitting them on your behalf — refunds are limited and granted on a case-by-case basis.
4.1 When Refunds May Be Granted
We may issue a full or partial refund in the following situations:
- Duplicate charges or billing errors on our end.
- Service not delivered: If your recruiter has not started work and no recruiting hours have been used in your current billing cycle, you may request a refund within 7 days of being charged.
- Significant service failure that we determine, in good faith, prevented us from delivering the Service as described.
If we approve a refund, the recruiter hours that refund covers are removed from your balance.
4.2 When Refunds Will Not Be Granted
Refunds are generally not available:
- After recruiting hours have been used in the current billing cycle, even partially.
- For dissatisfaction with the outcome of applications, such as not receiving interviews or offers. Careerify is an effort-based service and does not guarantee any specific result.
- For change of mind after work has begun.
- For unused recruiting hours from a cycle that doesn't qualify under 4.1. Paid hours don't expire (after you cancel, your recruiter keeps working until they're used), so they aren't refunded as cash.
- After 30 days from the original charge date.
- For accounts terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service.
None of the above limits the Application Delivery Guarantee. That guarantee is a service credit — one additional month of your plan at no charge — not a refund, so the exclusions and the 30-day window on this page don't apply to it. A guarantee claim can be made well after 30 days; the timing is set out in the guarantee terms.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email billing@careerify.io or support@careerify.io from the email address associated with your account.
- Include your full name, the date of the charge, and the reason for your request.
- Allow up to 5 business days for our team to review and respond.
Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, additional processing time may apply.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we'll do our best to resolve it directly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate account suspension and may affect your eligibility for future service. If you open a chargeback, the hours that charge paid for are removed from your balance.
7. Plan Changes
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard:
- Upgrades take effect immediately, with a prorated charge for the remainder of the current cycle.
- Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through your dashboard. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
